It's hard to believe that in the midst of a muggy, 85 degree September day, the leaves were already falling. It looks like my favorite season has arrived early.
While the boys manned the rakes and made a leaf pile (William's efforts lasted a valiant 25 seconds), I went nuts on the camera. Here are some photos from the afternoon:

Oh my goodness! No wonder why Fall is your favorite! It's beautiful. We don't really get Fall or Spring... It's extreme hot or extreme cold... not usually the temperature but the dry icy wind that blows about 40 miles an hour. EEK. I've always told my husband that we HAVE to go to Vermont or somewhere on the northeast to really experience Fall. It looks so gorgeous in pictures...I feel deprived. ha ha
Seriously....I can't even imagine. We're still worried about hurricanes and beach days here. But I would love to actually see a change in the seasons..I miss that.
